The short version. DALNOTA keeps your work on your own computer. It has no account and sends no telemetry. Optional problem reports send only what you choose to share. Website reports are private and require your confirmation.
The application
Everything you write in DALNOTA — notes, tasks, calendar entries, diary entries, focus sessions — is stored in a local SQLite database on your device, together with the rotating local backups the app makes for you.
- There is no Dream Arc Labs account and no sync service. Your workspace is not uploaded by this website. Do not include private notes or diary entries in reports.
- There is no telemetry or usage analytics. If you choose to send a problem report, that report is an explicit network request, separate from your local workspace.
- Uninstalling removes the application. Your database and backups stay on disk until you delete them yourself.
This website
Pages and downloads are served through Cloudflare. Like any web host it records request data — IP address, user agent, requested address, and timestamp — to deliver the page and to defend against abuse, and it sets a bot-management cookie (__cf_bm) for the same purpose. We do not run analytics, advertising, or third-party trackers, and we set no cookies of our own.
Optional problem reports
When you submit a report, we collect its summary, description, steps, app and Windows versions, and any email address or text log you choose to include. No account is required. Report details and logs are sent only after you review them and consent. We receive the text you reviewed or edited, not the original file or its filename.
Reports are stored privately on Cloudflare infrastructure. Cloudflare Turnstile helps prevent abuse; your IP address is sent to its verification service. Our rate-limit records use a temporary keyed hash instead of the original IP address. Logs are not automatically anonymized or malware-scanned. Remove passwords, access keys and private content before sending. Dumps and archives are not accepted.
Report text, email addresses and logs are not public. Any known-issue summary is reviewed separately before publication. We retain reports while needed to investigate and follow up; automatic deletion after a fixed period is not yet implemented. Contact contact@dreamarclabs.com with your report reference to request access or deletion. Providing an email address does not trigger an automatic receipt or marketing email.
Email correspondence
If you write to contact@dreamarclabs.com we receive your address and whatever you put in the message, and we keep it as long as the conversation is useful — a bug report is worth keeping until the bug is fixed. It is never used for marketing and never passed to anyone else.
Your rights
Because we hold no account and no product data, there is usually nothing of yours for us to export or erase. Where we do hold something — email correspondence and optional problem reports — you can ask for a copy or ask us to delete it.
Children
DALNOTA is not directed at children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version is posted here with a new date. Material changes will also be noted on the product page.
