Dream Arc Labs
Terms
Last updated August 19, 2026
The short version. DALNOTA is free to use while it is in beta. It is unfinished software given to you as it is, your data lives on your machine and is yours to look after, and nobody is promising it will never lose anything.
1. What these terms cover
They cover the DALNOTA application (the software) and this website, both provided by Dream Arc Labs. Installing or using the software means you accept them.
2. The beta
DALNOTA is beta software. It is incomplete and under active development: features can change or be removed, releases can introduce faults, and the beta itself can be ended. Do not rely on it as the only home of anything you cannot afford to lose.
3. Your licence
You are granted a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use DALNOTA on devices you own or control, for personal or commercial work, at no charge for the duration of the beta.
4. What you may not do
- Redistribute the installer as your own, or distribute a modified build in a way that suggests it is the official one.
- Remove or alter copyright notices, licence notices, or product marks.
- Use the DALNOTA or Dream Arc Labs names to imply endorsement or affiliation.
5. Your data is yours
DALNOTA stores your work locally and we never receive it. That also means we cannot recover it for you. Keep your own exports, especially before upgrading or changing machines.
6. Unsigned installers
Current builds are not code-signed, so Windows may warn about an unrecognized publisher. Take the installer only from the official download address and check the published checksum. We are not responsible for copies obtained anywhere else.
7. Third-party components
DALNOTA includes open-source components whose licence notices ship with every installer. Those components remain governed by their own licences.
8. Future releases may be paid
The beta is free. A future stable release may be offered as a separate paid product. Using the beta does not entitle you to a licence for a paid version, and we will not begin charging for a beta build you have already installed.
9. Trademarks
DALNOTA and Dream Arc Labs are trademarks of Dream Arc Labs; a trademark application for DALNOTA is pending.
10. No warranty
The software and this website are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You use them at your own risk.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dream Arc Labs is not liable for lost data, lost profits, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the software or this website. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Ending it
You may stop using DALNOTA and uninstall it at any time. We may end the beta or withdraw a build; your local data stays where it is either way.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where local consumer law gives you stronger rights, those rights are unaffected.
14. Changes
Revised terms are posted here with a new date. Continuing to use DALNOTA after that means accepting the revision.
